2019 Annual Christmas Dinner

The USNA Parent’s Club of MS hosted the annual Christmas Dinner with 86 people in attendance at Table 100 in Flowood, MS this past Friday. Present were 17 Midshipmen, 8 Candidates to include two from the Greystone Foundation School, and their families. The parents club presented Flags to our First Class Midshipmen flown over the US Capital Building on the Navy’s Birthday in their honor. We also presented Lt. Governor Proclamations to the Second Class Midshipmen for signing their 2 for 7 service contract (two more years of school for at least 5 years of service). We celebrated their accomplishments and honored our First and Second class Mids. Our area BGO coordinator Mr. David Price introduced each Candidate and spoke about being a Blue and Gold Officer and USNA in general he also introduced the Alumni we had in attendance. The parents club was also able to give a gift jar of candy and $20.20 to each Midshipman in attendance.
